BTRSswap - Pleated Beauty

I finished my bag for the BTRSswap a couple of weeks ago and haven't had a chance to take a picture. Here it is! I'm really happy with the colour combination. I even remembered to leave a gap in the lining to turn the bag inside out!
I used magnetic snaps for the first time. I'm not sure if they are too strong though. They take a little bit of effort to get them apart. Next time I might use some smaller snaps.

The fabrics you chose are beautiful, and the finished bag looks lovely. I like the extra touches like the label and ric rac. Also, your stitches look great. What machine do you use?

Thanks! I've never used ric rac before and can't believe how easy it is to sew on.
I have a Janome Memory Craft. It is about 6 years old now I think. It does do nice, even stitches but I tend to have a few tension problems. I've just tightened the bobbin case and this seems to have fixed most of my issues.
Have a great night!

Hey, love the finished article. The fabric's gorgeous, very soothing base blues and the pleats look great. Love the label on it! I reckon the recipient would be very happy to receive this.

I got the bag on Tuesday. It is incredibly beautiful. I've never seen fabric like it. Thank you so much.
